Hino Trucks recently unveiled a new line of trucks at the 2018 Work Truck Show in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Hino XL7 and XL8 truck models will mark the first time the manufacturer has entered the Class 8 heavy duty truck market. Hino Trucks plans to begin production on the new models in their renovated West Virginia facility in 2019.

The Hino XL7 and XL8 vehicles will be able to carry loads ranging from 33,000 to 60,000 lbs. Customers will be able to enjoy features like hands-free Bluetooth calling, cruise control, LED headlights and steering wheel controls. Collision mitigation systems, electronic stability controls and other safety features will also be included, as well as standard features like cruise control and payload management suspension options. The Hino XL7 and XL8 models will also have A09 turbo diesel 8.9-liter inline 6-cylinder engine, 1,150 lb.-ft. torque and 360 horsepower capabilities.
