Hino Trucks Announces Master Elite Service Skills Competition Winner

Hino Trucks recently announced the winner of their annual Master Elite Service Skills Competition on June 20th. This marks the ninth year Hino Trucks, a division of the Toyota Group Company, has held the competition.

Master Elite Technicians hold the highest level of certification for Hino. The company's training program is considered one of the best in the trucking industry. The rigorous competition invites some of the most talented Master Elite Technicians from accords the country to show off their skills and compete in different service and customer-related tasks. There were 24 finalists in the end before the company finally crowned Billy Stanley from Rush Truck Center in Houston, Texas as the champion. Billy Stanley was ecstatic about winning since this was his eighth time competing in the Master Elite Service Skills Competition over a 12 year span. Other notable finalists in the competition include Greg Zubek from M&K Truck Center, Kelley Broeren from Milwaukee Mack and John Hevia from TruckMax.

Hino enjoys holding the annual competition because they believe it encourages technicians to improve their diagnostic skills and customer service. The competition also rewards hard-working, talented employees who have a deep burning desire to improve their technical skills and gain recognition from their peers.
